Appears Gabriel's got a new project.

I Tried So Hard

I Tried So Hard (Extended Mix)

Due to be released at a 12" on Record Store Day (21st of April). The websites I have found for this suggest it's a mystery artist, I'm certain it's Gabe though. (metronomy linked it as his new stuff on Facebook)

Enjoy.

Yeah, that's Gabriel, and it seems he's going to release an album late this year. It's great, although I'll miss Your Twenties. D:

I find this project very interesting, I hope the album will live up to my expectations.

By the way, the release date of the album is actually August 6th Wink

Ah, I knew I did something wrong. I thought maybe it was a 9 instead of a 6. Thanks

Ah too bad.

Look here http://www.125magazine.com/?p_id=300&pg=595
There's a cover art for a single named Long Forgotten Boy. It was a Your Twenties track at first if I'm not mistaken Smile

Ah yes, I also noticed that, it's another of the three tracks produced by Joe, along with 'The Eveningtime'. I can't wait for those singles to be released Razz

Oh, it wasn't private before Mad
He did the same when he uploaded the song to soundcloud, it was public at first but then he removed it and left this tweet: https://twitter.com/your20s/status/245939082457407488

oh god, how did you find that? bounce

you can even see the booklet with the lyrics and credits lmao

Apparently, Joe from Metronomy produced tracks 1, 7 & 10 Razz

Also, why does it say there that it is the second album from Gabriel Stebbing? Did he release any other before? Or maybe it's referring to the one that was never released from Your Twenties...

I don't think Gabriel even knows of the existence of that page lol!

It isn't the actual design of the upcoming album, apparently it was a work for uni by the guy behind that blog. Seems like their professor got the tracklist infos from Gabriel.

BTW I added more stuff to the Night Works part of the skydrive.
Including Modern European Smile

Hi, Very Happy

I'm the guy that designed all that. Yes it was for a Uni music branding project. Gabriel came in and chatted with us about the album, then we set off to work on branding the album packaging, cd design, twitter page, i - tunes.

I'm not really sure if you guys think its a crap design or not.

The lyrics / credits were all supplied to us by Gabriel himself - I'm not big on Gabriel Stebbing nor Metronomy so I'll admit I've no clue who the guys in his credits were until I saw this via my own blog.

As for Gabriel, I really don't know if he saw my designs, so no I doubt he knows of the existence of that page on my blog - unless my Lecturer showed them to him as I had to come in later in the day to do my final presentation on why I came up with my designs as they turned out - we had to present to the rest of the group and Gabriel had been present at the time. I presented on the last day of term earlier this year.

Be kind, its tough being a graphic design student as it is... cheers

Cheers.

Hi sf1378 Smile

Thanks for the bit of info, it confirms the tracklisting Smile
We didn't discuss your graphic design work. I'm a grahic designer myself and I think your project is simple but effective. However I can tell you it wouldn't work too well as an identity for Night Works. Your work rather reminds me of Lemon Jelly Smile Cool font choice.

New track featuring Zooey: http://soundcloud.com/nghtwrks/night-works-featuring-zooey-9

Gabriel said in a tweet that he was going to release new material on the days before their first gig on Wednesday bounce

This track is the evolution of the previously uploaded WIP '909 likes'. Very soothing Smile
