The Customers

Gabriel Stebbing and Joseph Mount's former band with other peoples.

Sounds to me like Your Twenties but kinda darker. A bit more rock too.

I bought the three available EPs, they didn't release anything else.

Days For Hoisting Flags On Government Buildings
1. When It Comes
2. Song For 17/12 and 5/2
3. Darling Blindfold
4. I'm Good When I'm With You, But Without You I'm Fine

Black Water / Every Time I Hear Your Name
1. Black Water
2. Every Time I Hear Your Name

Fifty Eight / Torch
1. Fifty Eight
2. Torch

You can download the whole lot there: or
It comes with correct cd covers and also the videoclip for Torch.

I got no reply from Gabriel and a couple more people I emailed so I still miss these tracks:
Sugar The Pill (not the Your Twenties version)
Home Rules
Morning Sickness (Metronomy Remix) and thus the unremixed song
The Customer Is King
This War

I could get Home Rules and Sugar The Pill off TotallyRadio but the damn thing doesn't let me add credits anymore and I miss the keyword of the show that aired them.

hmm interesting, I'll have to have a listen later! I'd rather like to hear that version of Sugar the Pill.
..Was there another metronomy/yr20s group or was it just this? I forget

also, I like that Metronomy have commented on the MySpace page Very Happy
